The Los Angeles County Arts Commission fosters excellence, diversity, vitality, understanding and accessibility of the arts in Los Angeles County.

City of Santa Monica

The Cultural Affairs Division is the largest single provider of arts services for the City of Santa Monica. Its annual grants programs enable local arts organizations to mount dozens of performances, exhibitions, and activities for Santa Monica residents and visitors.

His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for the Western United States

The Council is part of a network of voluntary organizations responsible, under the leadership of His Highness the Aga Khan, for the social governance of the Shia Ismaili Muslims in over 25 countries. The Council sponsors programs to assist community members in the areas of education, health, youth activities and economic development. It also promotes programs that endeavor to illustrate the pluralistic Islamic cultural heritage and works with other communities to encourage greater understanding between peoples www.akdn.org and www.theismaili.org.

New England Foundation for the Arts

Water Is Rising is funded in part by the National Dance Project of the New England Foundation for the Arts. NDP is supported be lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, with additional funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Community Connections Fund of the Metlife Foundation, and Boeing Company Charitable Trust.

Heal the Bay

Founded in 1985, Heal the Bay works to keep southern California’s coastal waters clean and advocates on behalf of the ocean’s marine life and the communities of people whose health are impacted as a result of pollution.
