Hsi Lai Hsi Lai Temple: Hsi Lai Temple was built to serve as a spiritual and cultural center for those interested in learning more about Buddhism and the Chinese culture. The temple's objectives are to nurture Buddhist missionaries through education, to propagate Buddhism through cultural activities, to benefit society through charitable programs, and to edify the populace through Buddhist practices.
 
LA public library Library Foundation of Los Angeles for ALOUD Series : The Los Angeles Public Library has many community support organizations, which work with the library to raise funds and sponsor programs to enhance library service throughout the community. Over 6 million books, audio books, videos and CDs to check out! Up-to-date subject information from journals, encyclopedias, statistical resources and more. A unique one-stop resource for information on California and regional history topics.
 
Skirball

Skirball Cultural Center: The Skirball features an extraordinary museum, changing exhibitions, engaging music, theater, comedy, film, family, and literary programs, Zeidler's Café, and Audrey's Museum store—all in a stunning architectural setting designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie. The Skirball's acclaimed school program serves over 30,000 children and teachers annually from public, private, and parochial schools.

 

   

 



A largely volunteer effort, based on the intention to utilize the arts festival model to build genuine community cooperation and understanding, the World Festival of Sacred Music is presented by Foundation for World Arts and UCLA Center for Intercultural Performance.
