HOUSE PARTY FUNDRAISERS:
House parties are bringing the 2005 WFSM-LA into living rooms and backyards
all over Los Angeles. It's your chance to create and host a sacred music
event for your family and friends and help raise the necessary funds
to ensure the success of the Festival. These "house concerts" are
more than just fundraisers, they are part of the actual Festival itself,
each one serving to bring people together to explore and celebrate our universal
longing for community.
Working closely with the House Party's coordinator, you will
plan your event, invite your guests, and enjoy a fabulous party. Your guests
will have the opportunity to find out more about the festival, and contribute
either by direct donation, by purchasing advance tickets, or signing up
to host their own event.

Wondering how you can help with the Festival?
Sign up to be a volunteer! Your time and energy will fuel the Festival, and it's a wonderful opportunity to meet
other community activists. Below are a few ways to help:
- Fundraising: Logistical assistance at Festival fundraising parties. Help setup for parties and be on-hand to assist with donations. May require some office work (i.e., invitation mail out, party host liaison, answering phone).
- Public Outreach: Help spread the word by distributing brochures, flyers and amulets at various public venues such as farmer's markets, other festivals, local community centers, etc.
- Translation: Translate Festival materials in your native language and distribute one-page Festival descriptions in your community and ethnic media.
