The James Irvine Foundation: The mission of The James Irvine Foundation is to expand opportunity for the people of California to participate in a vibrant, successful and inclusive society. James Irvine, a California agricultural pioneer, established the Irvine Foundation in 1937 to benefit the people of California. Over the last 67 years, the Foundation has met the objectives of its founder by providing more than $850 million in grants to over 6,000 nonprofit organizations.
 
National Endowment for the Arts: The National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing leadership in arts education. The Endowment awards grants to nonprofit organizations in three areas: Access to Artistic Excellence, Learning in the Arts, Challenge America, and Partnership Agreements. Established in 1965, the Endowment is the nation's largest annual funder of the arts.
 
Ford Foundation: The Ford Foundation is a resource for innovative people and institutions worldwide. The Foundation's goals are to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, and promote international cooperation and advance human achievement. Created with gifts and bequests by Henry and Edsel Ford, the Foundation is an independent organization, and is entirely separate from the Ford Motor Company.
 
City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs: Through its 18 neighborhood cultural centers, the Community Arts Division offers high quality instruction in the performing, visual, and new media arts. It produces solo & group art exhibitions; maintains a slide registry of over 2,000 California artists; creates outreach programs for underserved populations; develops special initiatives for youth; and promotes numerous festivals that celebrate the cultural diversity of the community.
 
Los Angeles County Arts Commission: The Los Angeles County Arts Commission fosters excellence, diversity, vitality, understanding and accessibility of the arts in Los Angeles County. The Commission provides leadership in cultural services for the County, including information and resources for the community, artists, educators, arts organizations and municipalities.

Center for Intercultural Performance: Founded by Judy Mitoma in 1995, CIP serves as a model arts/research organization that bridges the University with the world by facilitating and producing intercultural and international fellowships, residencies and collaboration projects. By connecting multicultural arts education and research that includes practice as well as theory, the Center provides a unique service to the real-world needs of students & artists from diverse communities & traditions.
 
EarthWays Foundation: A nonprofit organization, EarthWays Foundation serves as a catalyst for understanding and community involvement in local and global social action to benefit the environment and the human condition. EarthWays promotes sustainable vision and action for the earth and humanity, "a vision that all living things can share." The Skirball's acclaimed school program serves over 30,000 children and teachers annually from public, private, and parochial schools.
 
Hsi Lai Temple: Hsi Lai Temple was built to serve as a spiritual and cultural center for those interested in learning more about Buddhism and the Chinese culture. The temple's objectives are to nurture Buddhist missionaries through education, to propagate Buddhism through cultural activities, to benefit society through charitable programs, and to edify the populace through Buddhist practices.
