Offering of Peace with
Tea Master Soshitsu Sen
Bringing together representatives of diverse faiths
and cultures, the event features special guest Soshitsu
Sen, iemoto (Grand Master) of the Urasenke School
of Tea, who will offer a bowl of tea for world peace.
Through art and spiritual practice, Offering of Peace
expresses hope for the future and calls upon each of
us to become a manifestation of harmony. The Japanese
American Cultural and Community Center presents a series
of three events that reflect their crucial role in the
preservation of Japanese culture and in cross-cultural
understanding as part of the World Festival of Sacred
Music.
