Kool Kidz Koncert: An Afternoon of Fun and Music Created and Performed by Kids!
This concert is the culmination of a ten-week summer project — Kool Muzik: A Music Worship for Kidz — sponsored by the Multicultural Organization of Neighborhood Arts (MONA), whose mission is to provide opportunities for instruction in the performing and visual arts to a diverse group of young people. Facilitating a broad educational experience, the program is designed specifically to enhance the musical, lyrical, and creative expression inherent in children, who learn that what they express creatively through music can be of service to their communities and to the world. The concert includes music created and performed by the children (Kool Muzik Children's Choir), dance, movement, and spoken word. A project of the Bahá’ís of Los Angeles and the Agape International Spiritual Center, the program also includes an audiovisual presentation of the children's developmental process.
