The award-winning Halau O Lilinoe a me Na Pua Me Kealoha graces the Autry National Center with the warmth and spirit of Hawaii. From the ancient chants and movements of hula kahiko to the modern, entertaining styles of hula ‘auana, Halau O Lilinoe shares the rich culture of Hawaii in honor of its sacred land and beloved ancestry.

Come early to participate in an interactive workshop on lei making and basic hula. This is a rare opportunity to learn about and experience these two unique traditions.

Halau O Lilinoe a me Na Pua Me Kealoha was founded by Sissy Lilinoe and Lincoln Kaio in the city of Carson. Infused with the spirit of ohana, or family, this halau is more than a school; it is a way of life. With thirty years of tremendous dedication, Halau O Lilinoe is renowned worldwide for its strong and dignified movements. Each year, the award-winning Halau spreads it’s aloha with performances throughout Hawaii and the continental U.S.
